Where did I park?
The Maps Parked Car feature — which automatically detects where you parked when iPhone disconnects from CarPlay or the car's Bluetooth — was already available on iPhone and Maps. With watchOS 27, that location appears directly in Apple Watch's Smart Stack as a contextual widget, visible with a single scroll from the watch face.
Why it's useful on the wrist
In cities or multi-story parking lots, remembering where you left the car is a trivial but frequent problem. Being able to see the location directly from the wrist — without taking out the phone, unlocking the screen, and opening Maps — is exactly the kind of micro-utility Apple Watch should offer by definition. The widget activates contextually when needed, without permanently occupying space on the watch face. The feature is part of the 263 changes listed in the final slide of the WWDC keynote, according to iClarified's documentation.
