Weather iOS 27: updated hourly and 10-day views

The iOS 27 Weather app receives an update to its hourly and 10-day views, two of the most consulted screens in the application, which had remained largely unchanged since the native app launched on iPhone.

Weather, finally updated

Apple's Weather app underwent its most significant transformation with iOS 16, when Apple acquired Dark Sky and integrated its charts and hypertext visualisations. Since then, however, the hourly and 10-day views had remained largely unchanged. With iOS 27, as noted in the WWDC 2026 keynote's 263-feature list documented by iClarified, both views receive an update — an intervention that, while not spectacular, concerns the most-consulted screens of the app in daily planning.

Details not yet disclosed

Apple did not show the precise design of the new views in the keynote, but their explicit inclusion in the platform features list indicates a concrete, not merely cosmetic, update. Developer betas available since keynote day will allow the developer and journalist community to document the changes over the coming days. Pending definitive screenshots, the news is that one of the native app's most neglected corners is finally receiving attention.
