A quiet product removal
While WWDC 2026 is focused on software and AI, MacRumors has spotted a quiet hardware move: the Apple Vision Pro Travel Case, the $199 rigid carrier designed for the headset, has been removed from Apple's online storefronts in multiple countries.
According to MacRumors, the product is no longer listed on Apple's websites in the UK, Japan, Germany, France, Ireland, and Hong Kong. The product pages have been fully removed — not simply marked out of stock — indicating discontinuation with no plans to revive it in those markets.
What this means for Vision Pro owners
The Travel Case was Apple's only official transport solution for the Vision Pro. Its removal from international markets comes as the headset has not yet received an announced successor, and visionOS 27 received relatively limited updates at WWDC. The move could reflect simple logistics rationalization, or it could hint at a product revision ahead of a second-generation model.
